My wife picked up my prescription yesterday. I wasn't sure if I'd get 7 or 14 temazepam tablets... well it must be fekn Christmas cos I got 28 of them!!! Yabadabadoo! God bless old Portillo, the man is a saint. Although I have hardly had a drink since I got the cold a few weeks ago, last night I indulged myself in an orgy of wine and temazepam and subsequently slept for 7 hours. Sheer bliss. I feel so much better after having a good night's sleep. Fuck fluoride in the water, benzodiazepines for the masses I say!Yesterday I went to Edinburgh and bought myself a new guitar. I know, I know... ICD F30.0... "mild overspending"... well fuck hypomania, I'm having a good time and for the first time in ages I'm going to enjoy myself and make the most of it. To hell with the consequences. This is...
I've spent most of the past few days in bed with snots and aches and pains... no they are not three of the seven dwarfs, nor the alternative names for the Rice Krispies... I've still been rotten with the cold/bubonic plague. I thought colds would be much milder since I stopped smoking but they seem to get worse with age. And where the fuck does all that sputum come from? You've no sooner emptied your lungs of a bucket load then you immediately start wheezing and rasping again. How does it synthesize faster than you can cough it out... If only my biceps and beer belly could metabolize as fast as that. I think I've turned the corner now and am finally on the mend but it's making me think about having another three years of virtual isolation and avoiding all germs.I see in the last comments...
I’m going to start posting again intermittently, I think.
Watch this......

I've been rotten with the cold for most of the week but am now on the mend. I just realised that I've never had the cold, the flu or any physical illness since going mad in 2004. Maybe there's a good side to antipsychotics, maybe all my medication induced blubber protects my fat bloated body from germs.
Although I no longer see any old friends or colleagues from the real world, I do sometimes...
I woke this morning to hear the phone ringing. No problem, I don't answer the phone, the answer machine will kick in after 5 rings and take care of it. The phone continues to ring... eh? Eventually it stops but then I hear it starting again. Shit, it's my mobile, only my family have that number. I dash downstairs and grab my mobile... "hello?".Surprise surprise! "It's the midshipman from the Black Pearl here"......well almost... "It's the secretary from the CMHT" to tell me that my 4 o'clock appointment has been cancelled. The lady sounds really nice and warm, not the usual dreary robotic voice from Little Britain saying "computer says no"...Anyway the nice lady tells me that the pirate is off sick and they will schedule an appointment for another time. This is not good. Unlike us workshy...
Who knows, lot a buzz over...
I'm mentioned in Ep 3....
