I was just reading Seaneen's post about accidently saying "Thankyou mummy" to a shop assistant. By strange coincidence I had a sort of similar experience in the supermarket last night.Although he has been recently deemed to be the antichrist by many of the hugely tolerant people of middle England, I am a huge of Russell Brand.I was in stitches at his TV programme, Ponderland, last week. There was this bit about a guy with an oscilloscope sound generator thingy which kept saying "How are you mate?". You can listen in the player below...
Well I've never stopped repeating it. Over the past few days I've been going around the house saying "'ow are ye mate?" and then just about pissing myself laughing. It just keeps getting funnier and funnier.Anyway, last night I went with the missus to the...
On Sunday we did lunch with the internet people… *cue scary theme music*....”DA DA DA!!!”.My fears of meeting a group of psychos were unfounded, they were two lovely, normal couples who chatted away fine and it all went well. It was only afterwards I realised the irony of it. It never occurred to me for one second that I was the psycho that they were coming to meet and I had a bloody cheek thinking that they might be the nutters. Isn’t that weird? My level of insight into my illness/personality is very hard to explain. Certainly at the moment I consider myself completely normal, albeit with one or two minor issues that need resolved. But were I reviewing someone else with all my history and behaviours I might think differently, well I know I would. I just can’t accept or come to...

The local equivalent of 'Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells' is surely Irascible of EyemouthShe writes in the much abused letter column of the Berwickshire:My observations on the influence of television/computer games on people.‘Soaps’ on TV were created to show ‘kitchen sink’ dramas supposedly depicting everyday lives of families. My God, these shows depict violence; sexual deviance; adultery; heavy drinking; drug taking and anger! Are these responsible for us and our children emulating them?Do we want censorship on normal TV? YES!Good advice given to me was not to watch anything that does not uplift you. My censorship of TV my children were watching was to simply get up and switch off. No argument. But hold on, young people stay up later, and are exposed to adult viewing, videos, and...

This past week has seen Celebrity Big Brother UK hit news headlines across the world. It's been talked about by politicians and the public because of the seemingly racist remarks made towards a housemate, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty. It all started when some celebrities, Jade Goody (famous for appearing in Big Brother 3), Danielle Lloyd (a former Miss Great Britain), Jo O'Meara (former singer from the pop group S Club 7) and Jade's 'none celebrity in my eyes' boyfriend Jack Tweedy, started talking about Shilpa and making a joke out of her. Jade's mother (Jackiey) first brought it to a head by failing to pronounce Shilpa's name correctly and started called her "The Indian" and "Princess". Since then, things have gone downhill and Goody and Co have formed a group who seem to spend most...
It came to my attention a few days ago that 4 of the new episodes of season 6 of 24 were leaked. That's when every 24 fan started going crazy and downloading them. For days Ive been upset that I couldnt download them. So today I went on the hunt for a website that would allow me to watch the episodes without having to download them (I also found a site that would allow me to watch Lost this way)...After much searching, I came across a site that answered all my prayers! For the past 4 hours, I've sat and watched the single most fucking amazing thing in this world. Take my word for it..this season of 24 is a must watch for anyone. Episode 4 is the best episode of 24 I have ever watched and I've watched them all! If that episode is anything to go by, then the rest of the season is going to...
Well, after my last brief post, I turned the central heating up full blast, made myself a nice cup of tea, grabbed two peanut biscuits and plonked my arse down in front of the telly for an afternoon of sloth and self indulgence. The first thing that rattled me was the peanut biscuits, they were all that was left in our Ebeneezer Scrooge biscuit box. We’re not millionaires by any means but I’m sure there are folks out there struggling on poorer incomes than us that will be stuffing their faces with Kit-Kats, Rockys, Penguins and Breakaways. However, despite being handicapped with a chronic illness there was no chocolate biscuits for me today, I’m sure most of you are near to tears by now, so I’ll move on.I switched on the telly to see what my choices were for this afternoons...
Yes, it's back. The reason to watch section and today I'm listing Scott Maslen as a reason to watch a TV show. Scott Maslen appears on the TV screen in the UK, staring in the number one police show The Bill. He plays the part of Detective Sergeant Phil Hunter. A real women charmer and dodgy cop. It's easy to see why he's the number one reason (in my opinion) the watch The Bill. Sexy as all hell. He rates 8/10 for me!blog of...
